    It took me a bit of time to understand that Database was what I was looking for, but that's no problem. It's a site about a very specific thing, so specific words are expected. But it is the main reason for someone to visit the site, and it has no highlight/special attention at all, violating visual hierarchy again. Ideally it would be isolated to gain more attention.
    The "See all" in the home page sections also only exists for News and not for Entries, so I had to look for the Database button. It's also above the entries/over the divider instead of under the entries/together with them, so ends up a bit strange since it looks separated, but that's very minor. Just some question of proximity.

    Going back to the user section on the sidebar, it ideally could make the top bar obsolete and do away with it to help with information architecture. The top bar itself should be the object that holds all the user controls, including login, per heuristics since a sidebar with a top bar ends up focused on navigation and the top bar on system/user controls.
    The sidebar can have, on the user section at the bottom, a settings icon button, with a menu for the user to check if there are messages, logout, maybe change theme, receive notifications. Things ideally are grouped together by zones of function. Putting the search on the sidebar together with Database, for example, creates a zone of function to reach an entry.

    Also pardon my stream of mind lol, I really need to sleep now. Hope all of this can be of any help? I basically just listed some annoyances/violations to back up my previous claim.
    Also you're an admin, idk what you do here but thanks for keeping the site functional, I really appreciate it.
    Also I'm either going crazy or selecting text here in the input is almost impossible to see? Probabl something on my end
