Celeste Mario’s Zap & Dash (2023) is an SMB1 hack that incorporates Celeste-styled gameplay with moons as collectibles. While the hack is a good starting point for the “advanced SMB engine” (a.k.a. Mario Gaiden engine), there were some complaints with a few difficulty spikes in the game, and the need for MORE CONTENT.
