[QUOTE="Zhuguli232, post: 7060, member: 9240"] The difference is codes. My patch's purpose is trying to be fully NTSC 60Hz native by porting codes from NTSC original version or Kaettekita Mario Bros. to here, after doing rom data researches in both original NTSC and PAL versions and, found out that both PAL Original and Classic Series have optimized players and enemies movement speed when playing in PAL 50hz format, while the latter additionally adjusted the music. I actually played infidelity's conversion before, by hearing walking sounds pattern myself to be same as in PAL mode this made so accurately to arcade original, when I ported music pitch table codes from it to original rom and nsf, with some music codes from original version, and it really worked. I have adjusted enemies speed movement and falling physics close to NTSC original, but due to falling physics or Mario's movement speed code address lenghs in PAL version are shorter in the NTSC version, it made not possible to direct copying, and recently I checked again, players' movement speed indeed still from PAL (which means moves a little faster in NTSC mode compared to NTSC original) because I don't know where is players' movement data located at which address inside rom, but at least it plays now very much like Kaettekita Mario Bros. I also fixed Slipice's freezing effect, as the changes to the enemy sprites in this version (and Kaettekita too) caused a graphical error to occur. Part of Sidestepper's sprites were placed on the location of Slipice's freezing effect from the original version, and the object was not updated to use the new location of the effect sprites, so the Sidestepper parts are used instead of the proper ones. The freezing platform sprites are still included (in a different location to the original) and even feature a new third frame like the original arcade game, but all three frames are unused due to the mistake.
