This build came from another source code that leaked very recently, about 2 years ago I think! There are some interesting things I saw in this build after 3.5

Tried it again on real hardware, still doesn't pass the Sega Sonic Retro Splash Screen, although it works just fine on Regen emulator.

Yes, it works on Fusion and Regen emulator but I personally don't like using emulators for everyday gaming. I'm a real hardware fanatic who uses EverDrives. I have two folders for Sonic hacks, one is a normal folder for working games with no issues, the other is for Sonic hacks that are either unfinished, 1 zone demos, broken, crash and or rather peculiar. Unfortunately this one is in the latter as there doesn't seem to be any fix for it on real hardware only. I do appreciate the uploader sharing it on here for the community.

This version I found was from a source code leak, this version appears to date back a week or two before of the 4.0b release date

Maybe i'm can send the unpatched build to your DM for you testing on Megadrive/Genesis real hardware
