Sonic The Hedgehog – Colour Hack is a very simple Sonic 1 SMS hack made by Weeppiko. This patch aims to improve the colour palette for all the stages and screens of the game without changing anything else. Some stages have more changes than others, while the Special Stages remain almost unchanged. I have to be honest, this color hack indeed looks like a simple blue/purple filter over the original game. But the way you see it depends on which emulator you are using really (Kega Fusion has a bit of CRT TV quality when playing Master System games, for example).
