# Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts Randomizer Beta 1 The first public beta of the Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts Randomizer is now available! Select PLAY GAME, configure the new Randomizer Mode menu, and press START to continue through the normal opening. Join my Discord for future updates: https://discord.gg/7E4rGEY4cd ## What works - ENEMIES randomizes supported direct enemies and the repeating Zombie, Eagler, and Ghost spawners. - Eligible enemies cannot remain unchanged. - Wolf and Mad Dog count as the same enemy family and cannot replace one another. - Wolf, Mad Dog, Grilian, Arremer, Zombie, Eagler, and Ghost replacements have cross-stage graphics and behavior support. - MUSIC gives eligible stages and bosses music different from their original tracks. - Princess Talk and Ending/Credits music can appear as stage music. - STAGE ORDER shuffles Stages 1-7, keeps all parts of Stage 4 together, and keeps Stage 8 final. - A stage can never be followed by its original next stage. - NO 2ND LOOP is off by default. Turning it on allows the Magical Bracelet during the first route and removes the normal second loop. - If the final gate is reached without the Bracelet, the previous stage unit is retried instead of returning to Stage 1. - Randomization is fixed when START is pressed. Deaths, continues, and retries do not reroll the run. ## Current limitations - BOSSES is currently display-only. Toggling it does not randomize bosses. - Enemies outside of their native stage appear with slightly glitched graphics. - Some slight audio corruptions may happen, especially with tracks like "Princess Talk" & "Credits Song" ## Installation Apply `sgng-randomizer.bps` to the original headerless USA ROM using a BPS-compatible patcher.
