This might be a long shot, but I'm going to ask for someone to help out.
Some time ago, I had dumped the Japanese script for the infamous NES game, "Square no Tom Sawyer" for the NES. (Yes, THAT "Square no Tom Sawyer"!) Well, turns out someone had translated the script files and send them back to me. This was a surprise to see. Currently, I'm in the process of editing and formatting the script for script insertion in the future. What I suspect that this might need ROM expansion in the future.
The game's in-game dialogue is tightly packed in $18010-$1C00F with virtually no wiggle room to spare. It does have a dictionary system of sorts, but it only works as a prefix to characters' lines spoken in-game. The problem in the future (most likely) is that the translated script will be too big to fit in the ROM. I may need someone kind and generous soul who'd be willing to expand the NES ROM to fit the translated script in the ROM.
As of now, I'm editing the in-game dialogue script file (over 400 entries in this area alone).
